Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): The 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence is set to be held on February 8 at the InterContinental Regency Hotel as part of Bahrain Sport Summit which is organized by the General Sport Authority (GSA) in cooperation with the initiatives of Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The event will be organized under the patronage of First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sport Authority (GSA), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. It will host keynote speakers from Belgium, France and South Korea. The sessions will be run by Eng. Dalal Buhamida.
Marking the occasion, Chairman of the International Group of Artificial Intelligence (IGOAI) and Executive Advisor of Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre, Dr. Jassim Hajji, voiced pride in HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s patronage of the 2nd edition of the conference which will bring together an elite of international speakers in the sciences of the future and sport technology.
The latest solutions and software developed in sports will be highlighted during the conference, including the use of computer vision in monitoring the movements of players in the stadiums, predicting counter-plans and match results, virtual assistant coaches, analyzing players’ data to make a physical and tactical plan, and many future innovations that will revolutionize sport.
